German football 8/8- 8 /11

Let's start the weekend with a couple of games in 2.Liga. Now i've seen all the teams once so feeling is much better than last week, where we had many surprizes thru all leagues.

Friday

2. Bundesliga

Trier- Aue: Trier to win @ 1.75

Trier had a great start with a 3-2 away win over recently from 1.liga relegated cottbus. this win came with a bit of luck, but it shows that team is already in good shape for start of season and knows how to win. Trier has been relativly long in the promotion race last season, mainly due to it'S great home record. i expect more of this for this season.
AUE lost at home to fellow promoted team Regensburg 0-1. Team is already a bit down after the highly anticipated first game in 2.liga. in my eyes the will be playing against relegation this season and are in real danger to get off a bad start.
Trier is the far better team in this match-up and i expect Aue to look ahead at next weeks match, Already now, players talking about next weeks's match against Union Berlin, which will be a match-up of 2 east-german teams. This has to do with a lot of pride and is far more important, for fans and players, than the game against Trier tonight.

Looking for Bielefeld pk, but cannot pull the trigger yet. i think they will get at least a draw.

i'll leave Bielefeld alone and wil check today if they regroupe and get back on track, but i simply love the TRIER pick.
Intertops got is line down to 1.55, Schwechat to 1.5 and Pinnacle is still offering 1.75.

Stronger team + home field + look ahead of opponent = UPGRADE to 2 units @ 1.75

Saturday

1.Bundesliga

Hannover- B.München: Hannover +0.5/+1 @ 1.877 + OVER 2.5 goals @ 1.735

Hannover is a much better team than last year. They have one of the best offnses in league (they added Christiansen from Bochum) and are a great team, when it comes to fast breakes.
That’S the reason why they performed last year much better in away games than at home. This strength showed up again in last week’s 3-0 away win against Hamburg.
Today against Bayern is a home game, but tactically Hannover will play like away. Coach says he will let the same teame play that won in Hamburg and with same tactics.
Only problem with Hannover is defense. They got some improvement, but I still don’t trust it. Even if they did not conceide a goal last week they allowed unbelievable many goal chances.
There is a hype right now in Hannover about the team and they will get strong fan support which should be enough to stay in the game.

Bayern is the best team in league,as shown again last week, but they are usually not going full power on away games. Also I’m not sure how much all the action around Makaay disturbed the pregame preparation. The focus this week was definitely not on Hannover.

I’m not sure if Hannover will win (Bayern is just too good to bet against them) , but I like a the chances for a draw very much.

Freiburg- Rostock: Rostock +0.5 @ 1.826

Both teams lost last week. Freiburg had no chance loosing at Leverkusen. Team looked very weak on defense and only the goalie prevent them from a much higher loss. Problems are still all over the team and they did not find yet the team chemistry that is historically their strength.
Rostock lost at home to Stuttgart, but played decent for most of the game. Like last year I expect them to be much stronger in away games,when they don’t have to make the play on their own. Last two season games ended 1-1 and 0-0 in Freiburg and I like the chance of a draw or even a Rostock win here very much.

Bochum- Hamburg: Hamburg pk @ 2.05

This is more a play for Hamburg than against Bochum.
Both teams lost last week. Bochum lost at Wolfsburg in a wild 3-2 game. They wasted much energy in this game , but came out with nothing. That showes the problem (same like last season). Bochum has to play with 100 % effort for whole game to win and they are not clever enough to win games where they are not the much better sight.
Hamburg on the other hand lost 3-0 at home, but played recently for most of the game. They just did not score and then fell apart on defense.
Players are talking about refocusing on defense for the Bochum game. Also afdter win in league cup this was a set back at the right time for Hamburg and the club immediately is taking action against it, by focusing much more on this weeks game. A win would be very, very important for Hamburg and players know that. I see their chances much better in this away game without the pressure of homecrowd than last week. Also Hamburg got a very good history playing in Bochum (only 2 losses in last 9 games).
Should be enough to motivate Hamburg to get awin or at least a draw here.

Bremen- Gladbach: Bremen -1 @2.05

Bremen was a big surprise last week. They won in Berlin and so are riding a good wave right from the beginning this season. This team tends to play in streaks and it lookes like they are at the beginning of a good one. The UI-Cup match during week should not influence them, cause after a 30 min. try they gave up and saved energy for the weekend.
Gladbach did not impresse in last weeks win against Köln. They had big problems on offense and i expect them in away games as weak as they were last year. Just too less offensive power to be dangerous in away games.

Thanks, Duck. I really like the Rostock play. They should have a good chance of winning.

What i'm thinking about right now is the weather.
It'S very , very hot here in Germany . About 38 ° C are expected at most places at game time. Like in the last world cup this should slow down the games a lot. During WC i had great success by betting all unders in games played in the heat. If i look at todays table, without the heat factor, Hannover-Bayern is the only match i like the over. No matchups with potential blowouts. Conclusion is, i see 6 games with tendency for under and one for over. Heat will slow down games even more.
So if you can find a book to offer a Grand Banger, or whatever it is calles, take the UNDER as a big play.
to pick out single games, i like most:
1860- Schalke under 2.5
Freiburg-Rostock under 2.5
Bochum-HSV under 2.5

Osnabrück - Karlsruhe: Osnabrück -0.5 @2.03
Oberhausen - Ahlen: Oberhausen -0.5 @ 2.15 !! 2 units!!

Not much time for write up, maybe i'll can give some more info just before game time. But both games are: Strong home team coming of away win against struggeling away team coming of home loss. Both home teams are better teams + better form, so i dont understand these lines. Hit Oberhausen hard.
